7th Unknown Hunt & G-Field!!!

Good Morning Fashionistas!

I have entered ~*~ Inspired ~*~ into the 7th Unknown Hunt that will be starting in...oh...about...a few days.  April 1st to be exact and there are a ton of great Unknown designers in it.  It's a great hunt and I've seen a ton of awesome designs.  Including this lil top I have on...that isn't really a top but a dress that I just used the top on...because it had a great pair up with the shorts I got last week at G-Field's. 
Let's talk about the top first....it actually comes as a cute vintage dress, with Lola appliers (Yep, I got on my Lush's so they work with that too) and it's free....I love the colors in it and the cute little shrug.  This is exactly what I am looking for when I want something cute to fit my Lush Mesh Breasts.  Something cute and sexy...

Now, the shorts, yes those ruffles are adorable shorts.  I mean...the buttons?  Yeah!  The ruffles?  I really can't say much ....the things speak for themselves.  THEY ARE FREAKING ADORABLE.  Yep, going back for all the colors....soon as I got the linden.

Samhain Gacha & The Cinema

There were a ...and still are some great events out there and I went to a few this weekend.  I dropped through the Samhain Gacha (From the 12th to the 30th!!) and grabbed these adorable chucks from ZC...and I got the red, the blue, and these...I am going back they got a cute pink and gray pair I want so bad bad! 

Then I snagged this top from AUX at The Cinema event...omgoshness...I spent so much linden but omgoshness how cute is this top?!  They set perfect with the jeans from u.f.o.....I think I got this last year and I've been looking for a reason to wear them...I thought today was a good day for the 'skull eat my pants' and they matched the sneakers great!

Then this snazzy vehicle...yeah...the broom?! OMG It has sparkles flying out of it when you fly and oh yes, there is flying animation with it.  I adore the broom and I think I will get a lot of use out of it.  AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH! It can be like, the warning vehicle!  LOL

Getcha Some Gatcha!

I do love some Gatcha.  I don't stand there buying over and over though, mostly because I use a gatcha to sorta drag me out of my color/design funk!  I mean, it picks the color, it forces me to try something new.  It seems lately I need a little more of that.  I veer away from alot of stuff that isn't really 'my thing' but then I wondered if I was really being fair to myself.  I mean, what is secondlife but a place we can explore and be different and try new things?  Anyways, the Gatcha events are small does of "Try pink today instead of black!" for me....so I take what I get and I move on.

ONLY This time, there was this super awesome trade group!  I loved it, it was like going to a Gatcha convention and being able to just....enjoy the idea of it.  The feel of it!  THE SPIRIT OF IT! I really had fun trading my Hammy Kit for the Fairy Hammy with Wings!  I loved getting the R to go along with the K (That I got instantly, how is that for luck?!)  I mean....it was just nice to get into the chat, see everyone trading for this or that....it gave a really nice friendly feel to the entire event for me.   OH OH and then....I was totally camming around and when I first saw the Hammy it wasn't on the Gatcha...it was on LUNA JUBILEE!! OMG! -faints-

There are four or five blogs I follow constantly....I shall list them below, but mostly cause I love reading their stuff...while the pictures are awesome and all, I really enjoy the read.  I feel like these bloggers are real and genuinely nice people....so...I just always go back. I am sure everyone has their favorites and their ways, but these are mine.

So you can imagine how excited I was to spot her.  It was like seeing Cameron Diaz on the street....only in a Hammy costume...and she kept tumbling over.  I totally geeked out and IMed her all "OMG ITS YOU!"  -hangs head-  I should have tried to resist acting like a total dweeb, but whatever.....I wish I could have gotten her digital signature....THIS will have to do.  CHECK OUT HER HAMMY WHAT?!  (Does this make me a paparazzi?)

Fairy Closet Event!!

Hello!  For all you fantasy folks out there, this event is sure to stir up some interest.  I think you will find a few things there to titilate your fantasy....heh...I so hope I spelled that right.  ANYWHO!  Today started off the Fairy Closet Event!

Magical Dreams....

I don't know about you, but even my most magical dreams....I end up still in my PJ's.  I don't know what sorta mind trick it is, but I can have wings, wands, horns, and hooves....but I am still in my PJ's!!

It's okay though, I got {mon tissu} to back me up and I still think I look pretty magical...-winks-  The Lycia Lace Bandeau Bra is a perfect little modest addition to the Lycia Tank...and its versatile too, I use it under alot of my little tops. 

I've already explained about my shoe fettish with {mon tissu}, so clearly I have the Sloane Pumps.  UM Can you say adorable fashion witchy poo heels?  YES PLEASE!  Last year I went on a hunt for a shoe that was cute, a lil upscale, and had a hint of witch in them....these fit the bill.  Maybe you don't agree, but I love them and grabbed the Gray version for just that reason.  Of course they show up in my dreams.....

Baroque as a Diva!!!

That's how I feel, broke as a diva!! Ha Ha! With all the events lately my pockets are screaming for mercy and my animations in my builds, and the textures, are suffering.  They plead for me to stop buying clothes and start doing some quality builds!  I shall heed it....for now.  NO MORE SHOPPING!

I admit, I am steering away from the Vintage Fair things....only because I keep looking at the flickr feed and psyching myself out!  Like, how do I even compete with the talent there for CHIC contest?  I will get to it though, I still have til the 20th and maybe, just maybe I will be so inspired I take someones breath away!

But until then, you get my treasures from Collabor88!!! 

I snagged the Baroque little number because it fit in with the furniture in my big old fat house I never go in.....ha ha!  And because it is really cute.  While MESH has taken the fashion world by storm, I loathe to part with some of the really cute non mesh items and this is one of them!!

DIVA has really been making a statement lately and this cute little number with the amazing "DO ANYTHING MENU HEADBAND JEWELS" is pretty nifty!! Okay, admittedly that isn't the name...of the hair...or the headband, but it is pretty nifty! The Manon hair is really nice and DIVA hair always has that wispy look to it when I am in a whimsical mood.

Vintage Fair Darling....

I am so excited for Vintage Fair this weekend.  If you know me, you know I am a total Vintage Girl!  I love a sweet pencil skirt, a pillbox hat, and a cute pair of glasses.....well Gizza's Elegant Steps fits the bill...perfectly!

Diamond Avatar 50% Sale!!!

Good Morning!  It is a good morning!  Since the theme this week seems to be events, I wanted to let everyone know about this one!!  Diamond Avatar is having a great sale!!!  I enjoy her skins and I know I have blogged them before....the only thing I could offer as improvement, is to have more base skins...without make up....those are always my favorites!  But that is just a personal preference.


In her collection, there are a few I really like, but I really love her Venus skin!  It comes with 6 different variations in three different tones.  The one below is tan!!  I love her best because she has a make up close to a base skin....the first one.  Its got a soft pink tone to it that suits me!!

ROOKHOLD @ VINTAGE FAIR!!!!

So this week is filled with lots and lots of things! Vanity Fair, the CHIC Vintage Fair! OMG I'ma die of events!  But today I wanted to share some pieces with you from RH Engel's RookHold Jewelry!

I am very very partial to the Magda, the ember set in gold just...-le sighs- I love the way it makes me think of a fire in the center of a heart....it's all about passion and it will be sitting on my neck come grand opening this week! 

Then there is Morning Star...lil jagged pieces of perfect stone set in a silver casing....that is reminiscent of a peacocks feathers...at least to me.  I love the teal color, it is matched well with the silver. 

Don't worry fellas, there is plenty for you too!  Leather bands encased in silver and gold with an amber stone framed in wings.  Come on!  That's pure male rawr for you right there!

MAGIC OF PAPILLON SPRING FAIR and HUNT 2012!!!!!!

It's here finally!

The 2012 Magic of Papillon Spring Fair and Hunt!!!

I am so excited about this event.  The sim is stunning, the games are much, and the vendors are pretty neat.  The celebration is all about the first year of Papillon Breedable Butterflies and if you know me, you know this is how I make my linden that I can't spend!  But it's not even about that....I have never had or seen a breedable that garners as much love and commitment as these butterflies.  I will stop before I get emotional, but they are beautiful and lovingly crafted and bred.  If you don't do anything this month, do this Fair.  See this sim, and enjoy the Hunt, the Coin Game, the Trivia, and the 7Seas Fishing Event!!

Skin's Alot! Happy St. Patty's Day!!!

I think I have the Luck of the Irish!  I really do!  Ever since I started my No Linden Challenge, I have gotten asked three times to blog for a designer (I never get asked!), I got two awesome skins that I HAVE TO BLOG NOW....and well, the rest is just great SL things going on.  So onto the Skins!

The first one here is from Diamond Avatar, why are by chance participating in the FashionCentric Hi5 Hunt event starting next month!  So I got an announcement the other night about one of her skins and I had never tried them, its not even a name I know!  But the skin stuck out to me and I mentioned it to a friend....but seeing as I am on my challenge there was no way I was convincing my friend to fork me over 99 lindens for the skin I wanted.  So I put her on my "Buy Next Month" list.

LAST NIGHT SHE IMED ME!  Like..she could hear me through the Force!  It was so Karmacentric, yes, yes, yes, KARMA IS MY FRIEND BABY!  She passed over this skin and I wiggled out of my clothes and put it on. I love a face on a skin and for the most part, since I am never nakkies, the body doesn't matter. Yet, if I am honest with myself, I always check the girl stuff to make sure it looks good.  Diamond Avatar gets a 5 Stars! I loved the skin....it had makeup on it, I normally buy the base and make up myself but....It's an awesome skin and I love the intensity of the make up.  This one here is her Melanie with the Make up 1.  She is staying on my "to buy" list. 

I checked all over for little details I may not like or could be improved, because I wanted to represent fairly and maybe I don't have a good eye for mistakes, because it looked perfect to me. The only think I did notice is that the skin had this 'shiny' look to it, like it had been nicely lotioned and oiled along the legs and arms...but is that really a bad thing?

The second skin is also from a brand I haven't heard of before.  I tossed it on and haven't taken it off.  I will be wearing it all day today and yes, the girl parts rock as well.  This wasn't shiny at all, it had a warm glow to the color and I fell in love.   The one pictured here is the group gift for March and a variation on the Jenni Skin (Thank God cause I wanna wear it other times of the year!) So hop over today while you can, join the group, and get this skin!

This skin has adorable little green kiss marks along the breast, the cheek, the bum, and right over the treasure (dun laugh at my name for girl parts!) with the words Kiss Me on the front and lower back. It is really a great look and I love the spatter of freckles over her nose.  So this is my St. Patty's day skin today...

Pulchritude skins come in six tones, which is great when so often you get light, medium, dark and none of them really work well!  I also like the cleavage and the shadows on the skin are very realistic.

Pale, Peach, Sunkissed, Bronze, Caramel, and Cocoa...you are bound to find the perfect match and each skin comes with five make up styles.

The Magic of Papillon Spring Fair & Hunt!!

Papillon Breedables are designed and created by Butterfly Bellflower.  They are a breedable like no other.  Butterflies, fireflies, dragonflies, wisps, all congregate in a garden community to grow, flourish, and build together!  Join us in celebrating the one year anniversary of these amazing little bugs in a Magical Hunt between March 17th & 25th! 

The hunt item, a small yellow flower pot, will be hidden all over the sim the Fair will be held on.  Look for your pots, buy them at 0 Linden, and enjoy the fair fun!  We will be hosting vendors, a maze of Papillon's releases over the year, not one, but two auctions, as well as butterfly races, trivia, and so much more.

SIM WILL NOT BE OPEN TO PUBLIC UNTIL WEEK OF HUNT!!

The BPS Winter Fair 2011 was a great success, with lessons about the Papillon breedables, games, free gifts, a huge auction with new releases, and to round it all off?  A big old party at the end where the winner of that contest got an amazing new flutter.  I remember how much fun it was, how many new vendors I got to see, and new people I met. 

So you can imagine my excitement when I am gearing up for the Spring Fair!  It's looking like it is going to be better than before in a whole lot of ways!

One, it isn't going to be only one weekend, but an entire week including two weekends!  What does this mean?  Well, more vendors, more events, more space, more prims, more more more...I am getting a little excited there.  Sorry!

So with all this extra, what is planned?  Well, I did get a sneak peak into the fair grounds...and I have to admit, it's definitely in theme with the Magic of Papillon.  With spaces for each of the Papillon bugs, the BPS is going above and beyond in their creation of this space.

I saw a Maze!

I saw a Temple!

I saw a Swamp!

I heard about a hunt!

I heard about flying races!

I heard about two auctions!

I heard about a HUGE BIRTHDAY PARTY!

So, when you working out your plans for March, you have to make a space for the Magic of Papillon Fair in your calendar. Begining March 17th, the Fair will run for an entire week and end with a great celebration for the designer and creator.  It is the one year anniversary event for Papillon afterall!

The Great March Mesh Madness!!!

Tomorrow the March Mesh Madness is opening to the public!  They have a great selection of new spring Mesh outfits.  I remember my first mesh shopping trip and it was at JANE and you HAVE to stop through and see her spring line, its too adorable to pass up!

I got tons of JANE of course, but I found a new designer, well new to me, that I went BANANAS over..(yes, I sang it while I spelled it)!  coldLogic has a great selection of stylish chic designs that scream out to me...WEAR ME!!  This little combo is adorable and it came in a ton of color combinations.  I wanted to pick a pose that sorta showed off all the way the slacks fit...perfectly.

Sometimes Mesh looks odd or fits odd, I suggest you try ALL DEMOS!  I didn't...and I got a skirt from J.H. Couture that did this!

I did not get the demo and then I tried it with a few different poses -sad face- I really wanted this jean skirt too...maybe more sizes and more invisible???  I don't know, but it was making me sad.

So then I spoke with the designer.  Heh.  I am so out of it, I swear.  I didn't read the style card inside.  You need to adjust your shape just a wee bit.  At first I was like.  "Ew, I don't wanna do that, I like my shape." But really?!  KRYSTA YOU LAZY BUTT!  How much easier is that then standing on a pose stand and adjusting every little piece just right on regular clothes?  How hard is it to follow directions and just save the shape in the same folder of the skirt.  I DID IT! I LOVED IT! I WANT

Stayed tuned, cause I am about to go a little mad.  Not only did she have the awesome cute mini skirt, but some blazing hot heels...and the cutest little jacket and this amazing dress that looks like T-shirt gone Classy Office...okay, I just need to stop and show you...so just look and then go there and buy her stuff!

Also a special thanks to the designer, Jada Humby, for being so helpful, I really did want the jean skirt to rock and sometimes...I am a dollop head and it saved me doing a bad blog on her things when it was MY FAULT!  So...please, try the demos...and read the notecards.  It will save you an outfit and a lot of stress -grins-

Clowning Around @ EPOCH-Legend

I am a big fan of JuicyBomb.  I really enjoy reading her blogs and peeking into her flickr.  She inspires!  Today, I was combing through and read that someone had called her a 'shopping blogger' and not a 'fashion blogger'.  It had me poundering...what defines a blogger as fashion rather then shopping?  I mean, don't we buy what we think is fashionable?  I was really confused, but I would love love to hear what you guys think!

The Boots & The Furr...

So its Friday night and a whole week has gone by....and I am just trying to catch up!  I mean, I went to the WASH this week and got tons of stuff...and then to the Festival of Sin....who got Greedy and took up all my blogging!

So, tonight, after more blogs about Not the WASH! I finally got a chance to OPEN what I got.  I tossed together a few things I gathered this week, tried on a skin in my inventory I've had forever but rarely wear and KAZAM!  You got the Boots and the FURR!!!!
I am about to hit the floor for REAL! Z!

First let me just say, I love love Bliss.  The stuff from Bliss Couture is always epic nice for me, but this fur is...I get confused about what I am looking at.  Is it fur or is it...like..floating cotton candy?  I am not so sure, maybe its my dang VIEWER!

And the skin, well...I love Pink Fuel's Elly...I adore the make up that it comes with, but I think this may be a bit "Girl your foundation is showing ALL OVER!" for me...but well worth the make up combos that came with it is what I say!

The boots?  Well, for 10 Linden I ain't complaining, but honestly, they are cute as a button and I woulda spent more for them....a great find.  As were these super cute jeans from Sn@tch!  So in all, upon inspecting the outfit, the inexpensive stuff is what did it for me this week! SO KUDOS TO THE WASH!!!

The Pain of Wrath

Okay, I could not resist one more visit to the Festival of Sin....because Wrath makes me sad!  Very sad!

I really enjoyed popping around the spots though and this pose from [VMS] is part of a 7 Deadly Sins collection and it was pretty inexpensive.  I likes!  I likes alot!  Kyoot surprised me wih this saucy fishnet Idolatry suit....we can guess why she is burning, huh?  SOMEONE IS MAD!!! 

So nuff said about the Festival of Sin, and enough of me in my nighties....back to our regularly scheduled programming!

Sinfully Done...

The Festival of Sin has opened it's doors to the sinful and while I like to consider myself...sinless, lets all take off the rose colored glasses and accept that no one is perfect! The lag wasn't so bad and I managed to get down and dirty with the gluttony of shopping and lusted after a ton of goodies.  Don't worry, the lag kept me well in line with the sloth factor and before long I was using up all my wrath at the dang things not rezzing fast enough for me.

No worries, my greed got me passed it and I remained to get more than I bargined for.  Unfortunately for my vanity, I didn't get to see it all...I envy those that did.

I think that's enough sin for today, don't you?

The hair...WASABI!!!! I spent about a kajillion lindens there last night.  I cannot get over a glance over my shoulder and my hair isn't through my jumblie!  I am sorry, I just love that.
The body suit is from [AddiCt] and just a perfect addition to a leopard lovers wardrobe and that would be...me.  The heels?  Do not make me go into the heels...for ridiculously cheap, the heels will let you add some bows, change a ton of colors, and well...just get them, you will not regret it! 

I hadn't a chance to blog much about the time I spent in the Juicy Crush on You! but of all my purchases, I love this shape the most.  Let's be honest, none of us look like these stick like avatars running around and well, who wants to I say!  I like her so much because she is a bit of me...real me.  Curvy and absolutely stunning....wow I had some pride in there too...whoopsie! 

Also, for all you gluttony prone people out there, I got a snippet more to show...not of me!  Something for the guys out there.  A most dear friend has 'blessed' me with his permission to actually blog his stuff.  So, while I could have dressed up and put on my man juice avi...I didn't wanna put his to shame...so I snapped some while he wasn't looking -grins-
