Oh LAQ Why Have You Forsaken Me?!!! WHY!!!!!

I don't think I am the only one who does it.....but when I find a skin I adore, all my huds, shoes, feet, nails, cleavage tattoos, lush, and tango's match that skin.  It takes a long time to do but once it's done, then you know when you put them on, everything is set.  Lately I've been a little....impatient maybe?  Sad...mostly.....I love love love my LAQ Susan skin.  She is grown up without being garish and soft without being a baby face....she's perfect.   But......BUT.....with all the new appliers for feet, hands, nails, jumblies, and the lot....I been feeling a little left out.  LAQ Hasn't put any of them out....I go back weekly to see if they have caught up with everyone and nothing.  I have resisted buying the SLink feet and hands because I want to wait for LAQ to get out their appliers....

I am afraid it doesn't look like that is happening.  I haven't seen anything new from them skin wise in a bit.  I don't wanna put Susan away....but I am afraid if I don't, I will fall behind the rest of the advances in SL Fashion.  I want pretty nails and feet and hands and jumblies!  I WANT IT ALL!!

That being said....I did take off Susan today....It may be a while before I find one I love as much as her, one skin who looks like....me, if that makes sense.  In the mean time, this beautiful Alena in Chai from Pink Fuel will do in a pinch.  It's a little less adult then I would like, but there is really no complaint on the level of quality of Pink Fuel skins.

Dragging myself out of my building block today, I went over to My Attic and snagged this adorable hair from ploom. I really love their styles over there...whenever I want something a lil more edgy, they always seal the deal for me and this hair gives me a nice beachy keen feel with the cute little stars that go perfectly with the Undine earring set from Bliensen + MaiTai.  Love 'em!

And all of it goes ....I wonder sometimes if designers con conspire....because the hair, the earrings....the go perfect with the new Letty Straples from .:Pure:.  The dress is really beautiful and the details around the top of the hemline gives it a really finished feel.  Also, the alpha fits me perfect and sometimes that is a shot in the dark!  I got a big butt and I cann't lie...O.O  It also comes with the bangles that are scripted with a resizer, yay!  You can grab this dress at the store for only 60L!  WHA?  Yep, that's what I said.. 60L!!

I also tossed on my nails from Jamman....v.5 is out....and my meshly feet from PXL..I am wondering if they will do the same appliers as SLink did...again, another one of those things I am holding out on buying more feet and hands for...

Last, but not least....-wiggles brows- I grabbed this shot at the spot settled for the Home & Garden "Under the Boardwalk" Beach Event in July.....it's going to be a great event....all the items are at least half off original price and I've seen a ton of really cute items any summer home needs.....any beach needs.  There is going to be a beach party to start things off and tons of cute little gatcha machines to grab trinkets from....so mark your calendars!!  I will post more about this event later!

Walk in the Sand...

Today has been a good day!   I got a few things settled that were...unsettling me.  I also found this outfit.....I mean, I know I've gone on about Indyra Originals already before but....I feel like I haven't said all that needs to be said.  Every time I go over there I find something new I love.  I love their new lines and how you get one outfit with accessories..and all the colors and appliers for what we'd pay for a shirt some places.  Seriously?!  Why are you still sitting here....

This outfit stuck out to me because lately I've been feeling a little beachy keen.  It begged a walk on the beach and it's exactly what I did...stopping along this new Beach Cottage from Inspired as I went.  It's a cute little hide away with scripted doors and a working fan...

But the outfit, Gaia Pants Set.....the mesh slacks are textured with the soft flowy looking texture that makes me think of water...or a mermaid.  And adding that I can also wear my Lush's with it well...again, why are you sitting here.  It comes with the necklace and a set of earrings too....in how many colors?  OH right...SEVEN!

I think I may stay in it all summer....except I got the Elisne Trible Maxi dress too sooo...eventually I am going to have to come out of these.  -sighs-

The Road to Nowhere...

I've gotten a chance to sit and play and realized that unless I sit and play more, I will simply never learn everything I want to learn.  Playtime is essential.  Today I roamed around, stretched some boundaries, and challenged myself to a no mesh dress day....

While MESH clothing is becoming more and more popular and I admit, it is pretty amazing, I have a ton of non mesh clothing that is also...well...I think...spectacular too!  That being said, today I bring you absolutely no mesh dress. 

The newest item though is the hair.  I think ICONIC is a little undersold.  While we all love Truth, Wasbii Pills, and Ploom.....ICONIC is a like a hidden jewel.  It's one of those places you dig through and always find a treasure.  I have a few hairs from them, ones I absolutely adore.  The designer has a flair for a realistic moving hair that isn't at all ....weirdo newbie flexi, if that makes any sense.  Suffice it to say, its worth a trip over to ICONIC, you never know what you will find.



The Dorset Coat is an oldie but goodie and I really love the way it opens up.  I have seen a few Mesh coats and its hard, for me at least, to find one open and flared like that.  I mean, it's just cute!

Now I won't lie, I probably blogged these heels before, but they are one of those go to items everyone needs.  Please, do not deprive yourself of the Carmelia pumps from R.iceilli.  The same goes for the slacks.  There are some things, like the lil black dress, we need in our inventory and a good pair of neutral slacks and heels are one of them. 

Last, but not least, the Kyoot bustier....while they are going out of business, you have some time to go and grab it for 50L!  Yes, that's right..ONLY 50L....it's a great little addition to sexy up something business like...don't you agree?!

Magika, The Sea Hole, Hucci!!

It's been tooo long.  I miss my blog, so today I sat down and told myself...never to forget it.  Never leave it longer then a week.  So I won't.  Today, I bring to you.....a lot of Collabor88 and Magika....awesome.

First, lets start with the hair....I stopped through Magika, it's an oldie but goodie, but lately it's like if I do not actually go searching for it, I won't see it.  I mean, we see Alice Mesh and lots of Wasabii...all good hair, but I haven't seen Magika out and about.  So I stopped through.  OMG I am so glad I did, I prolly spent about too much linden on hair there.  They have a great umbra look to all their Mesh Hair and the texture, as always, is amazing.  This Visit hair comes with a cute little color change bow.  If you haven't visited lately, go...see them...stop in and say hello...buy a bunch of hair!!

Now onto The Sea Hole, another Oldie But Goodie....I remember when I first got into SL fashion, The Sea Hole was the SNIZIT to me.  I loved them so much, but when Mesh came on the scene, I was finding the fit from The Sea Hole...so unlike the attention to detail from them.  It was always so awkward.  BUT....I have faith in the designer, I realized that working with Mesh is a whole new world....and needed adjusting to.  SO when I spotted this adorable number at Collabor88 this week....I said YES!! YES!!! YES!!! and YES SOME MORE!  The skirt fits so cute and the design is ...well...very well done.  I am so happy, I feel like I've got one of my favorite stores back!  (If that makes sense...)

This leads me now....to the super adorable booties....guys...I am going back and getting them in all the colors.  I mean....LOOK AT THEM? HELLO!  They are perfect for the coming winter months....

Working Hard....

I am so tired!  And I am so sorry too...cause I mean to do more of these, I love love to blog.  It's a lot of fun for me.  Lately, I have been so busy with ~*~Inspired~*~ that I haven't had a lot of time.  On top of that, we are moving and normally in SL it takes me 2.3 hours to move, but we have decided to build everything for our new home, including the home, so it's a bit more time consuming. 

BUT....we finished the house.  I can't believe I actually did any of it...it is so beautiful with these rich woods and comfortable corners and..the kitchen.  -just sighs-  I hope we can get the living room done by Christmas though, I need a huge tree in there and I might get lucky and have some hunky lumber jack go cut me down one....sorry, I drifted into romance novel for a second there.  -hangs head- but with all that going on I haven't had a lot of time here.  Promise though, I shall do better!

With that said, I met a really nice woman yesterday, Phedre Rexie.  She stopped through ~*~Inspired~*~ and chatted a bit and turns out she makes jewelry.  That's like candy for the blogger and you bet I did go on over there later and get me some candy!

That cute colorful lil bracelet there?  Yep, Baubles!  AND So very cost effective and starting out as a new designer myself, I know its great to find a good deal on great stuff. (BUILDING IS EXPENSIVE!)

The crop top is from *BOOM*...the new Twenty-Three Tee....so so cute and like all *BOOM* Awesome it comes in a variety of flavas (colors for less jive people) (Side note: I have no idea where that came from)  AND SO....moving along....23 options for this beauty.  OMG RIGHT?! If you can't find something you like in so many options, then friends.....I don't know what to tell you.  BOOM DADDAAA DAADA...

I Work Out!

True STORY!

When I first came to SL it was for the sole purpose of Role Play.  I am a writer at heart....and one of the places I found along my search was Perdition.  It holds a fond place in my heart because I met one of my dearest friends there and well...played a whole lot of fun things!  In any case, one day not last fall, but the fall before...I went and got on some sweats and cute lil shoes and my new hair from Truth...and I decided I was going to RP my Lawyer character out for a jog.  So I am all excited and I tp on over there and I go running around the sim.  Cause you know, I am jogging. 

Running running running....and then I get this IM...."Umm, I don't know if you know it or not....but your naked."

I stop....surly not.  I mean, his graphics are prolly messed up or wishful thinking, ya know?!  Only, then group chat opened up and someone else was like. "I just saw Krysta run pass naked!"

By this time I was doing Yoga in the park....naked.

I about died.  Just saying, I don't wanna be naked in Perdition.  I wanna be jogging in Perdition, in my new hair.  At least that part was on.  So I tped my naked butt outta there so fast and I was ...mortally embarrassed.  I really do think I died a little that day.  -sighs-  LOL BUT today when I threw on Intrepids new Track Suit, I was reminded of that day.  I am really excited about Intrepids growth.  Initially they had a very small inventory but it is growing every day and I love the new things the designer is coming out with. 

See mah ABS!  How cool is that?  I broke down, I went to go see Alena over at Pink Fuel....between Wow Skins and Pink Fuel, I feel like my love for any other skin is slowly drifting away....SO While scooping out that Alena skin, I found this cute little abs tattoo....-grins- I feel all...not sitting in this chair blogging right now, but like....like....

Memories of {mon tissu}

I admit, entering contests over the past year has taught me a lot about blogging.  I've learned how important it is to make sure you pose in a way that shows off the clothing, how to edit photos without distorting the main focus of the picture, lighting.....it goes on and on.  I have learned a lot.   Still, the main thing I have learned is how important the credits are for each item.  I admit, in the past, I have slacked a bit with a skin or eyes that I wear constantly and I haven't don't many pose credits because I have so many.  I have since learned the importance and I suggest to new bloggers....join some contests....if nothing else, it will teach you how to be a better blogger!

So, with that said, I want to present to you....my first memory of {mon tissu}!

When the contest was announced for {mon tissu} blogger I thought back to the first time I dived into their cute little store.  I remember I about died and fell in love with just the outside of the store. A beautiful little village square that was reminiscent (at least for me) of the little villages on the Almafi coast in Italy.

I contemplated the wisdom of entering, considering my impulsive nature....but I wanted the shoes.  My friend had been wearing them and I wanted them so so much.  So, peering through the glass, I promised myself I would get the shoes and run.  Yes, that was the plan.

Bracing myself, I marched to the door, offering myself a quick pep talk. "You probably don't need anything else but those shoes....just find the shoes." Yeah, that's what I would do.

*Offers a dramatic sigh*  I don't have to tell anyone who has been to {mon tissu} what happened then.  I am sure it has happened to many a strong woman. 

Hello, My name is Krysta, and I am a fallen woman at the feet of {mon tissu}.  I bought the shoes, I sure did!

And a pair of pants, two Boho blouses, because one certainly wasn't enough....and a plethora of other items.  I banned myself from {mon tissu}.

I mean, I tried.  Only, I am an addict now...and when MESH hit the scene, well...I was there to grab the Lycia tank and bra...that's all I meant to get, but I walked out with the Sloane pumps and....lawd, you guys get the idea.

So when I heard about the contest, I wondered how I would do justice?  I am glad I have two chances...because one isn't enough.  I thought....the shoes that started it all and that (I AM SO SORRY) I have blogged quite a few times since, would be instrumental so....I shop...and what do I need?  A smart little number from {mon tissu} will do just fine!   I love the gathered material around the tie of the dress, it offers a really realistic and soft look with the shadows and the bow. 

The shoes, which I still absolutely love a year later, have the same attention to detail and soft look I love most from {mon tissu}. The heel?  That wooden heel?  Yeah, that's one of my favorite parts, but the cute lil ruffle on the front, the shadows....they sold me on this shoe.  I admit, I didn't even see the side strap until I bought them and put them on.  It is a super cute heel...why are you still sitting here?
In the end, I decided the shopping bags weren't enough and snagged me another....the cute little Weekend Traveler...well it just put me in the mood for this small travel back in time.

{mon tissu} has moved though and all that remains of the old little store front are my memories and a wishing fountain...but if you are a true blue lover of the brand, you can grab your Weekend Travel bag and head on over to  Mayfair and get to shopping!

You ~*~ Inspire ~*~ Me....Me....

Again, inspiration struck....at 6am yesterday morning and when I logged in I went looking...I wanted something sleek, simple, elegant....you know, one of those gowns that is just simply stunning but begged for accessories?  Only the accessories never drown out the elegance of the gown?  I don't know if I am making sense, but Rebel Hope was the first place I looked.  Unfortunately, in her main store, I couldn't find the perfect one.  I stopped looking.  HA HA I guess I figured, if it wasn't there, it wasn't anywhere.

But this morning, unable to get the vision out of my head, I went back to the Vintage Fair.

Wouldn't you know?  Rebel Hope's Perfect In My Head Gown....was there!  I snagged it....ran home...and got to work on the headpiece.  I knew I wanted the top hat.  I had to have a long veil....only because the back sorta...begs for it?  My clothes do a lot of begging...he he.

So finally, after, I don't know, HOURS IT SEEMED of me and RH fudging with the veil....we got this TADA FINGERS!!   You can snag that veil HERE!!

When I went to take the photos though, I got a lil intimidated.  One, I didn't know if I could make it look like it was in my head.  Two, you never wanna do a blog on a designer and...not do it well?  I just wanted it to be perfect I guess.  So...I hope it is.  I love the way the photos came out and I really absolutely wanted to try the Trash the Dress pose....without actually trashing the dress...cause I love it.  So...-smiles and passes out- I think I managed it!

Dangerously Beautiful....

Well...it happened.  Inspiration Struck and I didn't even have to wait until the end of the month!!
So ladies, while Vintage fashion is wide range of wonderful styles, the times between the 20's and the 80's were a revolution for women. 

We got to vote....we left our homes and worked....and we proved to everyone we were just as fantastic as anyone else.  So in that spirit....

Never mess with a beauty school drop out!!!

I love this jacket.  Honest...I stood in the store and stared at it for nearly an hour trying to decide if I would ever wear it.  I asked friends, I asked RH.....from him I got.  "It's leather?  Black?  and Pink?  Get it!" sight unseen, the jacket had his vote!  I did get it and I am glad I did....

The guns....umm..WOW How hawt are those poses?  Right?  Right?! The pack comes with two guns and they are menu driven so you can change the color....and every girl NEEDS her own Desert Eagle (I almost wrote dessert eagle! LOL)

I am happy with the look, it felt great doing it and well....if it doesn't win, it's still the high light of my Vintage Fair this year!!!  I had a blast and so much fun!!!

The Boots & The Furr...

So its Friday night and a whole week has gone by....and I am just trying to catch up!  I mean, I went to the WASH this week and got tons of stuff...and then to the Festival of Sin....who got Greedy and took up all my blogging!

So, tonight, after more blogs about Not the WASH! I finally got a chance to OPEN what I got.  I tossed together a few things I gathered this week, tried on a skin in my inventory I've had forever but rarely wear and KAZAM!  You got the Boots and the FURR!!!!
I am about to hit the floor for REAL! Z!

First let me just say, I love love Bliss.  The stuff from Bliss Couture is always epic nice for me, but this fur is...I get confused about what I am looking at.  Is it fur or is it...like..floating cotton candy?  I am not so sure, maybe its my dang VIEWER!

And the skin, well...I love Pink Fuel's Elly...I adore the make up that it comes with, but I think this may be a bit "Girl your foundation is showing ALL OVER!" for me...but well worth the make up combos that came with it is what I say!
